Ancient, Maitrakas of Valabhi - Unattributed, dated to (c.700-800 AD), Silver Dramma, 1.94 gms, 12.71 mm, issued most likely from the Eastern parts of the Maitraka kingdom, unpublished in major sources and an interesting type, Obv: Three-quarters bust of king, facing a snake, Rev: Trident in the centre and a 8th century Brahmi legend not yet read fully but begins with Shri Maharaja…, very fine, rare.
